A 2015 graduate of Lesley University. Brendan began his career in strength and conditioning during his time in college, working with the Nashoba basketball and hockey programs as well as providing at-home fitness services for a handful of individuals with various disabilities. Brendan has attended and completed dozens of continuing education courses throughout the last few years and is committed to an approach of being a lifelong learner. Everything that he attributes to his success in coaching and business was fostered outside of the classroom; specifically through his involvement in two community service organizations.

Brendan is the director of the Central MA Special Olympics program and is still heavily involved in Best Buddies; two programs that he began participating in during his sophomore year of high school. In 2014, he became the youngest ever to coach for Team Massachusetts at the Special Olympics USA Games and has been a resource for Special Olympics on improving fitness in their athletes over the last several years.

Over the last four years, racing for Team Hoyt New England has been a dream come true. Brendan and Jacob have participated in more than 50 races together, ranging from 5Ks to marathons. Their personal bests include an 18:23 5K and a 1:27:03 Half Marathon. Rick and Dick Hoyt have been a major influence on Brendan’s career path.
