Internship Program


 

Throughout the year, students interested in inclusive strength and conditioning, PT, or OT, spend time at Unified, completing internships, practicums, and capstone projects. Students get hands-on experience with the most diverse clientele possible and complete the AdaptX Inclusive and Adaptive Fitness certification course. These students come from: UMass Lowell, Tufts, MCPHS, Fitchburg State, Endicott, Boston University, an UNH.

 

 
 

In collaboration with the Rick Hoyt Research Lab and different local universities, AdaptX has conducted research on improving health outcomes and training strategies for individuals with disabilities.
